What is your shipping policy?

You will receive an email notification from Mushybooks when you place an order. Please print it out for your records. Orders are shipped in the sequence that they are received and we strive to ship orders within 5-7 business days, although delays can occur due to the volume of orders. All books are shipped via Canada Post and include tracking and insurance. Smaller items shipped may not include tracking, such as Inkless Print Kits, or replacement pages.

Canadian orders should reach the destination within 4-6 business days of dispatch. The standard for US orders is 4-10 business days from dispatch.

INTERNATIONAL

We love shipping books across the world! We offer Tracked Packet International (Canada Post) to most countries; however, if your country does not show up at the shop checkout, please contact us at info@mushybooks.ca to request a quote. Kindly provide your complete shipping address so we can quote you accurately.


How do I add/remove pages?

While holding the back of the screw, gently turn the front of the screw left using a small, flat head screwdriver. The screws will easily undo allowing you to access the internal pages.


What are the care instructions for the books?

Please only use water to wipe down the cover. No cleaning agents or solutions please.

What type of pen do you recommend using?

The type of pen you choose is really personal preference and that is why each book is shipped with a pen test swatch so you can test pens before writing in your book. Our favorite pens are 0.5mm fine tip pens such as Sakura Micron or Uniball Deluxe Micro, but don't take our word for it. Feedback we've received is that Sharpie pen ink is much too dark and will bleed through your pages. Try a few out on the Pen Test Swatch and see which one YOU like best.

What is your refund policy?

If you've changed your mind for any reason, Mushybooks must be notified via email within one week of receiving your order that you would like a refund. Items must be unused and in original packaging. Shipping costs will NOT be refunded and return shipping is paid for by the buyer.  We do recommend that you return your book via Canada Post or USPS to avoid additional brokerage fees often incurred by shipping with private shipping companies.  When customs fees or taxes are charged to us upon return, those will be deducted from your refund.

Please also note that any damage to the return product cannot be refunded so please use original packaging or take great care to package it yourself.

If there is an error or defect in our product, please notify us within one week of receiving your order (orders@mushybooks.ca) and we will fix it! Our goal is 100% customer satisfaction!

What can be done for shipping damage or a flaw in the product?

If your product is received damaged or flawed in any way, please get in touch within 7 days of delivery to report the problem. We require proof of purchase (order details) and photos of the damage/flaw. We reserve the right to replace only the part of the book that is damaged or flawed. Please email orders@mushybooks.ca to report any issues.

I’m sending this as a gift - can you include a gift note?

We love it when our customers send a Mushybook to a loved one. Please leave us a note at checkout if you are sending a book as a gift and tell us what you'd like included on the gift note.
